In the beginning of the year I decided to draw in my sketchbook as often as possible and start Big Journey Journal
Let's take a look at some winter pages.
I'm thrilled to announce my brand new passion project Big Journey Journal. The idea is I want to draw my 2023 because I know this year will be complicated and crazy for my family.
October is coming. Mid autumn season. For me It is a beginning of the most creative time in the year. So I want to share with you some art and craft ideas
Behind the scenes. Step by step process of how I paint a blueberry pattern in watercolor
I came up with a list of 30 topics to draw when you want to draw, but you don't know what exactly.
Сhoose the one that inspires you, and draw.
There is no more room for doubts and painful inventing plots.
Creativity should be fun and enjoyable.
For several years I've been illustrate my own universe in an artist's sketchbook by mixing styles, materials, and techniques.
In 2021, I felt that I had enough experience, knowledge and desire to share them with you. So, I filmed and published two classes on sketchbook grawing.
One day I made a sketchbook out of rubbish. We got a delivery from the Ikea store. And a big pile of wrapping stuff was also delivered. I was unpacking my purchases, folding the paper neatly, and suddenly I thought of stitching a sketchbook out of it.
It was an experiment: the sketchbook where everything is possible, it cannot be spoiled because it is made of rubbish.
Then the magic happened. I made the first sketch, then the second… And here we go! I started to draw often and easily.
There are some illustrations from my Winter 20/21 sketchbook.
Some of my illustrations from the book ""Как маленькому человеку помочь большой планете" ("How a Small Person Can Help a Big Planet"), published by Mann, Ivanov and Ferber, 2021
Illustrations for the online project Botanikids - Nature school for children. The creative way of exploring the world of nature.
Friends, I am very glad to present you my new postcards. This year they are laconic monochrome, but cute as always.
